FAQs

Does the machine have an energy saving mode?

Yes, the Haier X5 Plus is A-rated for energy efficiency and utilizes smart sensors to minimize water and power consumption automatically.

Can I operate the machine without the app?

Yes, all primary functions and cycles can be operated using the physical control panel on the front of the machine.

What is the benefit of the Auto Weigh feature?

It detects the weight of your clothes and adjusts water and electricity usage, preventing you from wasting resources on small loads.

How do I maintain the machine's filter?

Access the drain pump filter at the bottom front of the machine periodically to clear any debris or loose objects like coins.

Is the Quick Wash cycle effective for heavy stains?

Machine will not connect to the hOn app

Verify that your home Wi-Fi is active and that your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz network during the pairing process.

Cycle time is longer than expected

The Auto Weigh feature may be extending the cycle based on load size or imbalance. Ensure the load is not overloaded or tangled.

Excessive vibration during spin

Check that the leveling feet are firmly touching the floor and that the appliance is balanced correctly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure optimal performance, ensure the machine is placed on a level, solid surface to prevent vibrations during the spin cycle. Installation should be performed by a qualified individual, ensuring all transit bolts are removed prior to the first use. Compatibility with the hOn app requires a standard 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. To care for your machine, perform a maintenance wash once a month using a drum cleaner to prevent residue buildup, and periodically wipe the door seal with a damp cloth to maintain the integrity of the gasket.
