Anthisan Bite and Sting Cream contains mepyramine maleate, an antihistamine with anti-pruritic properties that helps to relieve itching and acts as a local analgesic to numb the skin. This cream is ideal for treating pain, itching, and inflammation caused by insect stings, insect bites, and nettle rash. For best results, apply the cream as soon as possible after the bite or sting. The recommended dosage for adults, the elderly, and children over 2 years of age is to apply the cream directly to the affected areas of skin two or three times a day for up to three days. Do not apply the cream to eczema, large areas of skin, or cut, grazed, badly broken, or sunburnt skin. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Each 1g of cream contains 20mg of the active substance, mepyramine maleate. The cream also contains ceto-stearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 600 monostearate, castor oil, methyl hydroxybenzoate, foin coupe (fragrance), silicon antifoam, and purified water.
