Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Ensure the timber surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. Remove any existing coatings if necessary. For previously treated wood, ensure it is clean and sound.
Application: Stir the preserver thoroughly before use. Apply generously using a brush, roller, or sprayer. For best results, apply two coats, allowing adequate drying time between coats. Ensure all sides of the timber are treated, especially for structural or exterior applications.
Compatibility: Suitable for use on pressure-treated, treated, or untreated wood. It can be applied to rough, sawn, or smooth timber. No subsequent topcoat is required unless for aesthetic purposes.
Care: Clean application tools immediately after use with a suitable brush cleaner or white spirit. Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the container is tightly sealed when not in use.
Ventilation: Always ensure good ventilation during application and drying, especially when working in enclosed spaces.
