Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper setup and care ensure your Paco Rabanne Invictus Eau de Toilette maintains its quality and provides the best experience.
Initial Setup
- Unbox: Carefully remove the bottle from its packaging.
- Remove Cap: Twist or pull off the protective cap.
- Prime Atomizer (Optional): If it's your first time using it, press the atomizer pump a couple of times into the air to ensure an even spray.
Application Instructions
- Clean Skin: For best results, apply to clean, dry skin, ideally after a shower.
- Target Pulse Points: Spray 1-3 times onto warm areas of your body, such as:
- Wrists (avoid rubbing them together)
- Neck (behind the ears or at the base of the throat)
- Chest
- Inner elbows
- Distance: Hold the bottle approximately 5-7 inches (12-18 cm) away from your skin when spraying.
- Avoid Rubbing: Do not rub the fragrance into your skin after application, as this can break down the scent molecules and alter the fragrance's development.
Compatibility
- Skin Types: Generally compatible with most skin types. For very sensitive skin, a patch test on a small area is recommended.
- Layering: For enhanced longevity and a more complete scent experience, consider layering with other unscented body products or complementary products from the Invictus range (e.g., deodorant, shower gel).
Product Care & Storage
- Store in a Cool, Dark Place: Keep the bottle away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures (hot or cold), and high humidity. A closet or drawer is ideal.
- Keep Tightly Capped: Ensure the cap is securely replaced after each use to prevent evaporation and preserve the fragrance.
- Avoid Shaking: Excessive shaking is generally not recommended as it can introduce air and potentially shorten the fragrance's lifespan.
- Shelf Life: Fragrances typically last 3-5 years if stored correctly. Over time, the scent may subtly change.
