Product Information

Full details

Fiddes Full Stop Stain Blocker is a Shellac-based, quick-drying, highly pigmented universal white primer that permanently blocks stains and odors in just one coat. It is formulated to adhere to bare or previously coated interior wood, metal, glass, tile, plaster, and drywall. FULL STOP is the ideal one-coat, multipurpose stain-stopping primer. It increases surface adhesion and accepts all oil-based, water-based, and acrylic topcoats. Preparation involves ensuring all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose paint, dust, or debris. Clean down and de-grease surfaces to remove ingrained contamination such as excessive grease, wax, mold, and oil that may affect adhesion before application. Sand the surface to remove any flaking paint or loose debris, to a smooth, clean finish. For application, apply in dry conditions at room temperature and stir contents thoroughly. Apply with a natural or synthetic bristle brush, roller, or spray. Refer to manufacturers spray equipment instructions and clean down with Methylated Spirits. Coverage is approximately 12.5m² per litre, depending on the density of the substrate. It is touch dry in 15 minutes and can be re-coated in 45 minutes at room temperature. Only a single coat is required. Recommended for use on interior wood, plaster, paint, varnish, metal, glass, and ceramic tiles.
