Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Hoof Preparation: Ensure the horse's hoof is clean and dry before applying the boot. Remove any debris.
- Sizing: Measure the hoof carefully to select the correct boot size. Consult the Cavallo sizing chart.
- Application: Open the boot fully. Place the horse's hoof inside, ensuring the sole sits flat on the inner sole relief. Secure the front closure and adjust the fit as needed. Ensure the boot fits snug but not overly tight.
Compatibility
The Cavallo Trek Hoof Boot is designed to fit both front and hind hooves. It is suitable for use on a variety of terrains, including trails, arenas, and pastures.
