Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure you have the necessary tools, including a drill, level, screwdriver, and appropriate wall fixings for your wall type (e.g., drywall anchors, masonry plugs).
- Locate wall studs if possible for maximum support or use appropriate anchors.
- Use a level to mark your desired shelf position.
- Attach the mounting hardware (often sold separately) securely to the wall.
- Slide the shelf onto the mounting hardware, ensuring it is firmly seated.
Compatibility: These shelves are designed for indoor use. Compatibility with your wall type is crucial; always use fixings suitable for plasterboard, brick, or other wall materials. Ensure the chosen mounting hardware can support the shelf's weight plus the items you intend to display.
Care: Clean the shelf with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the wood finish. For spills, wipe them immediately. Occasionally, you may want to apply a wood polish or oil suitable for pine to maintain its appearance.
