The Datalogic Magellan 3510HSi is a high-performance, in-counter bar code reader designed for the point-of-sale. It continues Datalogic's tradition of high-performance imaging with easy integration into existing installations due to its shared cables, mounts, and exterior plastics with the Magellan 3550HSi. The scanner's new electronics platform allows it to power from a single 5V USB connection, ensuring outstanding performance and simple connection to any POS system. It offers a large field-of-view and advanced imaging capabilities, providing exceptional performance on difficult-to-read bar codes and seamless reading of a wide variety of bar codes. The Magellan 3510HSi scanner supports both high-speed sweep and presentation scanning techniques, maximizing productivity and ergonomic ease, even with truncated, out-of-spec, or poorly printed codes. The optional Magellan Customer Service Scanner (CSS) enhances the customer experience by allowing customers to scan mobile bar codes from phone screens or paper coupons while the cashier continues scanning, significantly reducing transaction times. The scanner supports enterprise features like remote management for OPOS, JavaPOS, Toshiba Remote Management with IBM Systems Director, and Wavelink Avalanche, with additional capabilities provided by Value Added Features included in every Magellan scanner.
