Product Information
Full details
This Snug City Base Valance Polycotton Sheet is designed for homeowners seeking a neat, tidy, and comfortable bed foundation. Its key benefit is providing a smooth, secure fit that hides the bed base and stays in place, enhancing the overall bedroom aesthetic and comfort. A potential caveat is that the 16-inch drop might be too deep for very low beds. This base valance features a durable polyester-cotton blend, a deep 16-inch frill for a secure fit, and an easy-care, wrinkle-resistant finish.

Troubleshooting
Valance does not fit securely
Ensure you have selected the correct size valance for your bed base. Check that the 16-inch frill is fully extended and pulled down evenly around the base.
Excessive wrinkling after washing
Remove the valance from the washing machine promptly. While it is wrinkle-resistant, shaking it out and smoothing it before drying can help. Avoid over-drying in the tumble dryer; remove while slightly damp and allow to air dry or iron on a medium setting.
Fabric feels stiff
Wash the valance before first use. A fabric conditioner can be used sparingly during the final rinse cycle to soften the fabric, although this may slightly reduce its wrinkle-resistance over time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Provides a neat and tidy look by covering the bed base.
Stays securely in place due to the deep frill.
Easy to maintain with its wrinkle-resistant and machine-washable properties.
Comfortable and breathable fabric blend.
Cons
The 16-inch drop may be too long for lower beds.
Polycotton blend might not feel as soft as 100% cotton for some users.
Limited color options based on available variants.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Ensure your bed base is the correct size (Double in this case).
Place the valance sheet over the bed base, ensuring the frill hangs evenly around the sides.
Smooth out any major wrinkles.
Compatibility:

Suitable for divan beds and bed frames with a base that needs covering.
The 16-inch (approx. 40 cm) drop is suitable for standard to slightly higher bed bases.

Tumble dry on a low heat setting or line dry for best results.
Iron on a medium heat if necessary, though its wrinkle-resistant properties minimize this need.
