Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before application, ensure the timber is sanded smooth and is free from dust, grease, or previous finishes. It is highly recommended to test the dye on a scrap piece of the same timber to gauge the final color intensity. Apply the dye following the direction of the grain to prevent uneven streaks.
Once the dye has fully cured, you should protect the wood with a suitable topcoat, such as wax, oil, or polyurethane, to seal the color. Clean your brushes and tools with the appropriate solvent immediately after use. Always store the bottles in a cool, dry place and ensure the lids are tightened firmly to prevent solvent evaporation.
