No, Pergola is a non-electronic board game and does not require any batteries.
Pergola supports 1 to 4 players.
The goal is to accumulate the most points by arranging plants in your garden and attracting various insects over the course of 15 rounds.
Use the included round-tracking component or keep a simple list to mark the passage of the 15 required turns.
Refer to the initial setup section of the rulebook to confirm that all tiles are connected according to the edge-matching requirements.
Setup for Pergola involves organizing the central tool deck and distributing the base garden grids to each player. Ensure you have a clear, flat surface of at least 300mm x 300mm per player to accommodate the garden tiles. As there are no batteries required, the game is entirely analog and maintenance-free beyond keeping the small components organized. After use, store the tiles and insect tokens in their designated sections in the box to prevent wear and tear. Keep the components away from liquids and direct sunlight to maintain the vibrant colors of the game boards and tokens.
