The Airmaster 4" Extractor Fan is an ideal ventilation solution for homeowners looking to reduce moisture and odors in small spaces like bathrooms and cloakrooms. It offers the key benefit of automated climate control through its integrated humidistat and adjustable timer, ensuring efficient moisture removal after use. However, users should note that as a 4-inch fan, its airflow capacity is optimized for small to medium-sized rooms rather than large open-concept bathrooms.

The fan includes the standard housing and internal components, but you will need to provide appropriate wall/ceiling fixings and electrical cabling.
Yes, the IPX4 rating makes it suitable for installation in bathroom zones, provided it is installed in accordance with local electrical safety regulations for wet areas.
It is not recommended to paint the unit, as this can interfere with the intake grille and the internal sensor mechanisms.
The timer settings are usually located under the front cover; use a small flat-head screwdriver to turn the dial to the desired time interval.
Yes, as long as there is appropriate ducting to route the extracted air to an external vent point.
Check the internal humidistat sensitivity dial settings; you may need to adjust it to a lower threshold to trigger the fan earlier.
The timer delay may be set to zero. Remove the cover and adjust the timer potentiometer to the desired run-on time.
Ensure the fan housing is securely mounted to the wall or ceiling surface and that the ducting is not obstructed or kinked.
Installation of this unit should be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure proper connection of the permanent live, switched live, and neutral wires required for the timer. The fan is designed for standard 4-inch ducting. Compatibility: Ensure your ceiling void provides enough clearance for the 40mm depth of the unit. Care: To maintain optimal airflow, gently vacuum the grille every six months to remove dust buildup. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners on the plastic housing, as these may cause discoloration; a damp, lint-free cloth is sufficient for wiping the surface clean.
