Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the sanding machine is turned off and unplugged before changing belts. Align the new belt correctly on the rollers, ensuring the arrows indicating belt direction (if present) point forward. Once positioned, turn on the sander to check for proper tracking. Adjust the tracking knob as needed until the belt runs smoothly without drifting off the rollers.
Compatibility: These 25mm x 762mm belts are designed to fit most standard belt sanders and polishing machines that accept these dimensions. Always verify your machine's belt size requirements before purchase.
Care: To prolong belt life, avoid excessive pressure, which can cause premature wear or overheating. Clean the belt surface periodically by running it against a rubber cleaning stick or block to remove loaded dust and debris. Store belts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to maintain their adhesive integrity and abrasive quality.
