Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the cabinet door and frame are accurately measured for the hinge placement.
- Use appropriate screws (not included) suitable for the material of your cabinet and door.
- Position the hinges on the door and frame, marking screw hole locations.
- Pre-drill pilot holes if necessary to prevent wood splitting.
- Securely fasten the hinges to both the door and the frame.
Compatibility:
These hinges are designed for small cupboard doors with a maximum thickness suitable for the 2mm hinge plate. They are best suited for lighter materials like wood or particleboard. Verify that the mounting surface can support the hinge and door effectively. While Loops offers a range of matching hardware, confirm that the satin chrome finish is consistent with other components if integrating into an existing setup.
Care:
To maintain the satin chrome finish, clean the hinges with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the surface. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap and water solution, then dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth. Regular dusting will help preserve the aesthetic.
