Product Information

Full details

The Vevor Button Maker Machine is a versatile tool designed for hobbyists, crafters, and small business owners who want to produce professional-quality custom pins, magnets, and keychains. Its primary benefit is its 2-in-1 modular design, which allows you to switch between 58 mm and 75 mm button sizes using the included molds, making it an excellent all-in-one starter kit. However, users should note that consistent operation requires careful alignment and surface stability to ensure every press yields a perfectly crimped edge.

FAQs

Can I use this machine for metal-backed buttons?

Yes, this machine is designed to work with standard button components provided in the kit, which includes shells and backings.

How do I switch between the 58 mm and 75 mm sizes?

The machine features a modular design allowing you to remove one mold set and install the other by following the provided installation steps.

Does the machine come with instructions for beginners?

Yes, it includes a creative magic book and clear instructions to help beginners understand the assembly process.

What type of paper works best for the badges?

Standard 80-100gsm paper is ideal. Avoid cardstock, as it is often too thick to crimp properly around the shell.

How many buttons can I make with the included kit?

The starter kit includes 200 button parts, allowing you to create 200 completed pins or magnets.

Troubleshooting

Button parts are not crimping together fully.

Ensure that the handle is pulled down completely with firm, consistent pressure. Check that you have not accidentally inserted extra layers of paper.

The design appears tilted on the final button.

Use the built-in alignment guides to center your image, and ensure the die is fully snapped into the machine base before pressing.

The handle feels stiff or difficult to press.

Check that the mold is clear of obstructions and apply a small amount of lubricant to the handle pivot if necessary.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Supports two popular button sizes in one device
Sturdy construction ensures consistent crimping
Comprehensive starter kit includes all necessary accessories
Ergonomic handle design improves productivity

Cons

Requires a solid, non-slip surface for best results
Initial learning curve for aligning paper and Mylar layers
Takes up significant desk space due to its solid-metal build

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the machine involves selecting the desired die set (58 mm or 75 mm) and securing it to the base. Ensure the alignment pins are fully seated before beginning. When it comes to compatibility, the machine is optimized for the included component sizes. Maintenance is straightforward: keep the mold surfaces clean and free of paper dust or debris to prevent scratching your finished buttons. Periodically applying a tiny drop of machine oil to the handle's pivot points will keep the operation smooth and silent. Store the machine in a dry environment when not in use to prevent oxidation of the metal components.
