Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation of the Options Colmar Oak Laminate Worktop should be performed by experienced professionals to ensure a proper fit and seal. When cutting, use sharp woodworking tools and ensure all cut edges are sealed with a suitable laminate adhesive or sealant to prevent moisture ingress. Ensure adequate support is provided, especially for longer spans.
Compatibility:
This worktop is designed for standard kitchen cabinet installations. It is compatible with most common kitchen sinks and hobs, provided cut-outs are made according to manufacturer specifications and edges are properly sealed. Avoid direct contact with extreme heat sources like hot pans; always use trivets. Prolonged exposure to standing water should also be avoided.
Care:
Clean the worktop regularly with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the laminate surface. For stubborn marks, a non-abrasive cleaner can be used sparingly. Wipe away spills immediately, especially acidic or colored liquids, to prevent staining. Ensure the postformed edge and any cut edges are kept dry.
