CarPlan Paint Thinner is a versatile, 500ml chemical solution designed for DIY enthusiasts and professionals who need an effective way to thin oil-based paints and clean painting equipment. It offers the benefit of restoring brushes to their original state and achieving the perfect consistency for painting projects, though users must exercise caution due to its chemical nature and the requirement for proper disposal away from standard drains.

While effective on bristles, ensure the brush handle and ferrule are resistant to chemical solvents before soaking for extended periods.
Do not pour it down the drain. Take it to your local council recycling center or a hazardous waste collection site.
This product is designed for equipment and paint thinning; it is not recommended for fabric use as it may damage fibers or cause discoloration.
Use a glass or metal jar to prevent the solvent from reacting with the container material.
It is primarily intended for oil-based paints. Always check your specific paint's technical data sheet to ensure compatibility.
Ensure the brush was wiped of excess paint first and allow it to soak longer in the glass or metal container.
Always add thinner in small, measured drops; unfortunately, if over-thinned, you may need to add more paint to restore the consistency.
To ensure safety and longevity, store the CarPlan Paint Thinner in a cool, dry place, keeping the lid tightly secured to prevent evaporation and accidental spills. Avoid storing in areas prone to extreme temperature fluctuations. When choosing containers for your thinner, always use glass or metal vessels; avoid plastic containers that may react with the chemical composition. Never dispose of used thinner down the drain, as it is harmful to the environment; follow your local hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
