Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface to be repaired is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or oil.
- Cut the tape to the required length using scissors or a sharp knife.
- Peel off the backing film.
- Apply the tape firmly to the desired area, pressing down with significant pressure to ensure maximum adhesion. Smooth out any air bubbles.
- For best results, apply pressure evenly across the entire surface of the tape.
Compatibility:
The OB1 Extreme Strength Repair Tape adheres to a wide range of materials, including plastics, metals, wood, concrete, ceramics, and painted surfaces. It is suitable for both smooth and rough textures. It is not recommended for use on very soft or flexible materials where extreme rigidity is not desired, or on fabrics that require breathability.
Care:
Once applied, the tape is designed for permanent, heavy-duty bonding and requires no ongoing maintenance. Keep the roll stored in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its adhesive properties.
