Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Professional installation is recommended due to the integrated venting system. Ensure that the hob is installed by a qualified technician according to the manufacturer's instructions. This includes proper ventilation ducting and electrical connections.
Compatibility
- Cookware: Use cookware compatible with induction hobs. This typically includes cookware made from stainless steel or with a magnetic base.
- Power Supply: Verify that your electrical supply meets the hob's specifications (220-240V). A dedicated circuit is recommended.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the hob's glass-ceramic surface regularly with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners and steel wool.
- Filter Maintenance: The grease filter should be cleaned regularly. The carbon filter needs replacing according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Spills: Wipe up spills immediately to prevent them from burning onto the surface. Use a hob scraper for stubborn stains.
