Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Measure the space between rafters or joists. Cut the netting to the required lengths, allowing for some overlap.
- Installation: Stretch the netting across the rafters or joists, ensuring it is taut. Use a staple gun or tacks to secure the netting, spacing the fasteners approximately 10-15cm apart along the edges.
- Layering: For wider rafter spans or heavier insulation, consider using a double layer of netting.
- Overlap: Overlap the edges of the netting by a few centimeters to provide continuous support.
Compatibility:
The netting is compatible with various types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, mineral wool, and blown-in insulation. It is suitable for use in both new construction and refurbishment projects.
Care:
The netting requires minimal maintenance. Avoid placing heavy objects directly on the netting. Inspect periodically for any signs of damage, especially in areas exposed to weather or pests.
