Care and Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your cookware:
- Washing: All pieces are dishwasher safe. For best results and to prevent water spots, you can hand wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool, especially on the non-stick surfaces.
- Non-Stick Pans: To maintain the non-stick coating, use wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils. Metal utensils can scratch and damage the surface. Avoid extreme high heat, which can degrade the coating over time.
- Storage: Store pots and pans carefully to prevent scratching, especially inside the non-stick frying pans. Consider using pan protectors or placing a cloth between stacked items.
- Heat Management: While handles are heat-resistant, always use oven mitts when handling hot pots or pans, especially if they have been subjected to prolonged high heat or oven use (if applicable).
- Rust Prevention: The stainless steel is rust-free, but ensure cookware is dry before storing to prevent water spotting or mineral build-up.
- Stains: For stubborn food stains, soak the pot or pan in warm, soapy water before cleaning. A paste of baking soda and water can help with tougher residues, followed by a gentle scrub.
