Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the drill is unplugged before changing bits or making adjustments.
- Open the keyless chuck by rotating the chuck collar counter-clockwise.
- Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit fully into the chuck jaws.
- Rotate the chuck collar clockwise until the bit is held securely. Ensure it's tight.
- Attach the auxiliary handle to the front collar for better control.
- Adjust the depth gauge to the desired drilling depth.
- Select the appropriate mode: Rotary for wood/metal, Hammer for masonry.
- Plug the drill into a suitable 230V power outlet.
Compatibility:
The drill accepts standard round or hexagonal shank drill bits and screwdriver bits within its 2-13mm chuck capacity. It is compatible with standard 230V mains power.
Care:
- Keep the drill clean by wiping it with a dry or slightly damp cloth after use. Avoid using solvents.
- Ensure ventilation slots are clear of dust and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
- Store the drill in a dry, safe place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Periodically check the chuck and power cord for any signs of wear or damage.
