Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These platform steps are designed for immediate use upon delivery. Ensure the locking side arms are fully engaged before ascending. Position the steps on a firm, level surface to ensure maximum stability. The non-slip feet should make solid contact with the ground.
Compatibility: The ZARGES GRP Platform Steps conform to EN131 professional standards, making them compatible with most professional work environments that adhere to these safety regulations. They are suitable for use on solid ground and are intended for single-person use up to the 150kg rating.
Care: To maintain the longevity and safety of your steps:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the GRP stiles and aluminum treads with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the material.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the stiles, treads, and locking mechanisms for any signs of wear, damage, or deformation. Check that rivets are secure and the feet are intact.
- Storage: Store the steps in a dry, protected area when not in use. Ensure they are closed properly to prevent damage and accidental opening.
- Usage: Always adhere to the 150kg load rating and use the steps on a stable, level surface. Do not overreach; move the ladder if necessary.
