Yes, their design offers excellent protection and support, making them ideal for beginners and intermediate trainees alike.
These gloves are intended for training, boxercise, and sparring, not for professional competitive matches.
14oz is a 'middle-weight' glove. It is heavy enough to provide good protection for bag work but light enough to practice technique and sparring.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe down the surface. Do not submerge in water or use harsh chemical cleaners.
Yes, we strongly recommend wearing hand wraps to protect your knuckles and wrists and to keep the interior of your gloves clean.
This is normal for leather gloves; wear them for shorter sessions and use hand wraps to help stretch and mold the material gradually.
Ensure gloves are fully aired out after every session and use moisture-absorbing inserts to prevent bacteria growth.
Ensure you are using proper hand wraps to provide a stable base, which helps in distributing the impact more evenly.
To ensure the longevity of your Hy-Pro Boxing Gloves, always use them in conjunction with quality hand wraps to absorb sweat and add an extra layer of structural protection. After every session, wipe down the exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove perspiration. Crucially, allow the gloves to air-dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can crack the leather. If the interior begins to hold moisture, insert glove deodorizers or cedar chips to prevent odor buildup. Store the gloves in a cool, dry place when not in use.
