Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Surface Preparation:
Before applying BeamerPaint, the surface must be stable (weight-bearing), completely dry, and clean. The subsurface must meet the requirements for gypsum substrates (level 4) or a comparable classification. Any imperfections or unevenness must be addressed to ensure a smooth finish.
Application:
- Primer Application: Apply the water-based primer evenly to the prepared surface using a paint roller. Allow the primer to dry for a minimum of 5 to 6 hours.
- Finish Application: Once the primer is thoroughly dry, apply the finish coat evenly using a paint roller. Ensure consistent coverage for a uniform projection surface.
- Drying Time: Allow the finish coat to dry completely before use. Refer to product packaging for specific drying times.
Compatibility:
BeamerPaint is suitable for application on any smooth, flat, stable, and properly prepared surface, including drywall, plaster, and previously painted walls that meet the required standards.
Care:
To maintain the projection surface, clean gently with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, which could damage the hard top layer.
