This AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp is designed for growers and HVAC professionals who need to securely connect ducted components while minimizing noise and preventing air leaks. Its key benefit is creating an airtight seal that also absorbs vibrations, leading to a quieter operation. A potential caveat is that it's specifically sized for 8-inch ducts, limiting its universal application. The clamp features a heavy-duty rubber construction for flexibility and durability, adjustable stainless steel hose clamps for a secure hold, and is ideal for connecting inline fans, carbon filters, and ducting.

The primary purpose is to securely connect two 8-inch ducted components together while minimizing noise transmission and preventing air leaks.
No, this clamp is specifically designed for 8-inch diameter ducting and components.
The stainless steel hose clamps have a worm drive mechanism that allows you to tighten them around the rubber coupling using a screwdriver. This tightens the clamp, creating an airtight seal and holding the components securely together.
It is designed to significantly reduce noise by absorbing vibrations and muffling airflow sounds. Complete elimination of all noise may depend on the fan's inherent noise level and other system factors.
The rubber is heavy-duty and designed for HVAC and grow environments, which can involve moderate heat. However, prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures may affect its longevity.
It is recommended to check the clamp tightness periodically, especially after initial installation, and after any significant changes in temperature or humidity, to ensure the seal remains effective.
While durable, the rubber material may degrade over extended periods with direct UV exposure. For outdoor applications, ensure it is protected from direct sunlight.
Ensure the 8-inch ducting and the clamp are correctly aligned. Re-tighten the stainless steel hose clamps, ensuring they are evenly distributed around the connection and pressing firmly against the duct ports. Check that the rubber coupling is fully seated on both components.
Verify that both components being connected are indeed 8-inch diameter and have compatible port sizes. Ensure no obstructions are preventing the clamp from fully encompassing the duct ports.
Confirm that the clamp is positioned correctly between the source of vibration (e.g., fan) and the ductwork. Ensure the hose clamps are sufficiently tightened to create the airtight seal, as air escaping can create noise. Check if the noise originates from elsewhere in the system.
