This guide is for gardeners looking to plant bulbs efficiently and protect their root systems. The key benefit is simplified planting and transplanting with minimal soil disturbance. A caveat is that these are best suited for individual or small grouped plantings rather than large-scale landscaping. The Easy Planter Bulb Baskets by Prosperplast are designed to facilitate neat bulb planting in groups, allowing for easy removal and replanting. Available in green, these plastic baskets come in three sizes (20cm, 23cm, and 26cm diameter) with a consistent height of 6.5cm.

The baskets are available in diameters of 20cm, 23cm, and 26cm, with a uniform height of 6.5cm.
The number of bulbs depends on their size and spacing. For example, a 23cm basket can typically hold 5-7 medium-sized tulip bulbs.
While designed for bulbs, they can be used for small perennials or divisions, especially when transplanting to minimize root disturbance.
Yes, they are suitable for raised garden beds, provided the bed depth is sufficient to accommodate the basket.
The baskets are made of durable plastic.
The product description does not specify drainage holes, but the open structure of the basket typically allows for adequate water flow.
Simply rinse them with water after use and allow them to dry completely before storing.
Water the soil thoroughly before attempting to dig, or use a trowel to loosen the soil around the basket's edges.
Ensure bulbs were planted with the correct orientation (pointy end up) and that the soil has adequate moisture and drainage. Check for any signs of pests or disease.
Ensure the basket is fully buried and that the surrounding soil is firm enough to hold together. Use a sturdy trowel or spade to gently lever the basket out.
