Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Gather the necessary tools, including a drill, screws, wall anchors (if needed), a level, and a pencil.
- Marking: Determine the desired location for the hooks and mark the spots on the wall using a pencil.
- Drilling: If using wall anchors, drill holes at the marked spots. Insert the anchors into the holes.
- Mounting: Align the hooks with the holes or anchors and screw them into the wall. Ensure they are level.
Compatibility
The HAY Bolt Hook is compatible with most wall types. However, use appropriate wall anchors based on your wall material (e.g., drywall anchors for drywall, masonry anchors for concrete).
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the hooks with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
- Prevent Overloading: Do not exceed the weight capacity of the hooks.
- Regular Inspection: Check the hooks periodically to ensure they remain securely attached to the wall.
