The HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub is designed for professionals and students who need to expand their laptop's connectivity options across different operating systems. Its primary benefit is the ability to transform a single USB-C port into seven essential connections, including high-resolution video and Gigabit Ethernet, in a compact, portable form factor. One caveat to note is that while it supports dual 4K displays and power passthrough, your host computer's USB-C port must support the necessary display and charging standards to utilize these features to their full potential.
