The Shires Hanging Cheek Sweet Iron Snaffle encourages salivation and acceptance of the bit. A hanging cheek offers limited movement, making it a good option for fussy horses and the fixed mouthpiece prevents pinching and the bit slipping through the horse’s mouth. This hanging cheek bit is useful in allowing a small amount of poll pressure whilst still being a snaffle. The sweet iron and copper link aids salivation and acceptance.
