This band saw is primarily designed for cutting wood, plastics, and composites. With an appropriate blade, it can also cut some non-ferrous metals like aluminum, but always refer to your blade manufacturer's specifications.
Always disconnect the power before changing the blade. Release blade tension, open the wheel covers, carefully remove the old blade, and install the new blade ensuring teeth are pointing downwards towards the table. Re-tension the blade and adjust guides according to the manual.
