Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug the RJ11 connector into your ADSL modem or router's phone port and the RJ45 connector into your ADSL filtered faceplate or the designated data port. Ensure both connectors are firmly seated.
Compatibility: This cable is compatible with ADSL modems, ADSL routers, and standard ADSL filtered faceplates that use RJ11 and RJ45 connectors for data transmission. It is *not* suitable for standard Ethernet networking tasks (e.g., connecting to a network switch or a standard computer network port).
Care: Keep the cable clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or sharp bends. Periodically check the connectors for dust or debris and gently clean with a dry cloth if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
