The Curb Chain rests under the chin groove between the bit shank purchase arms, and controls the lever action of the Curb Bit. When engaged with the curb rein, this chain will apply pressure to the chin as well as amplify any bit movement in the mouth. This chain from Lorina is double linked, not only to reduce the risk of pinching, but also to allow the chain to sit more easily on the chin groove. Made from highly polished stainless steel. The Lorina Curb Chain Double Link is a traditional curb chain which lay against your horses jaw. Should only be used with a curb, Kimblewick or Pelham bits.
