Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Choose Mounting Location: Select a suitable indoor location, considering the 8-meter detection range and avoiding direct heat sources or drafts that could cause false triggers.
- Select Mounting Type: Decide between recessed or surface mounting. Recessed installation requires a suitable cutout in the ceiling or wall. Surface mounting involves attaching the sensor directly to the wall or ceiling surface.
- Wiring: Note: Installation requires basic electrical knowledge. Always disconnect power at the main fuse box before wiring. Connect the sensor to the appropriate power supply and the lighting circuit according to the manufacturer's wiring diagram.
- Adjust Settings: Set the desired time delay using the integrated controls. Ensure the day/night sensitivity is configured for your needs.
- Test: Restore power and test the sensor's functionality by walking within its detection range.
Compatibility:
The sensor is designed to control lighting circuits. Ensure compatibility with your existing wiring and the load of the lights it will be controlling.
Care:
- Keep the sensor lens clean. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring no moisture enters the device.
- Avoid using harsh cleaning chemicals.
