The Bosch Hole Saw Ejection Spring (2608902026) is an essential accessory for professional metalworkers and contractors who frequently use Bosch EXPERT Sheet Metal arbored hole saws. Its primary benefit is the automatic ejection of material plugs, which significantly speeds up repetitive drilling tasks while protecting the carbide teeth of the hole saw from impact damage. While it greatly enhances workflow efficiency, it is important to note that this spring is specifically engineered for the EXPERT Sheet Metal series and may not be compatible with standard or non-carbide hole saw systems.

No, it is specifically designed for the Bosch EXPERT Sheet Metal series hole saws.
No, the spring slides directly over the pilot drill bit without the need for additional tools.
This accessory is optimized for metalworking; it may not provide the same benefits or longevity when used with wood-cutting hole saws.
Replace the spring if it fails to eject the material plug consistently or if the coils show visible signs of distortion or metal fatigue.
No, it is designed to fit snugly and compress uniformly, ensuring the pilot bit maintains proper contact with the surface.
Check that the spring is not clogged with metal chips and that the pilot drill depth is correctly set to allow full spring extension.
Verify you are using the correct model of EXPERT Sheet Metal hole saw, as the spring is sized specifically for that arbor geometry.
To install, slide the spring over the pilot drill bit before attaching the hole saw to your arbor. Ensure the spring has enough travel space to fully compress during the drilling stroke. The accessory is specifically compatible with the Bosch EXPERT Sheet Metal arbored hole saw range. For care, keep the spring area free of heavy metal shavings or debris that could inhibit its movement. If you notice the spring is no longer ejecting plugs effectively, inspect the coils for metal build-up or signs of permanent compression, and replace if necessary to maintain consistent pressure.
