Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure the leather item is clean and dry. Use a leather cleaner to remove dirt and grime.
- Testing: Test the absorbency of the leather by applying a small drop of water onto a hidden area. If the water soaks in and darkens the leather, it is absorbent and suitable for the balm.
- Application: Apply the balm evenly using a clean cloth. Use circular motions to ensure good coverage.
Compatibility
The Leather Recolouring Balm is designed for absorbent leather. It is suitable for a wide range of leather items, including furniture, car interiors, shoes, handbags, and clothing. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Care
- After applying the balm, it is recommended to nourish the leather with a leather conditioner to maintain its suppleness and prevent cracking.
