Omnidirectional Obstacle Avoidance: The DJI Air 3S supports Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS). The Air 3S also features downward infrared time-of-flight (ToF) sensors and six vision sensors (two at the front, rear, and bottom) to achieve nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing, as the first DJI drone to include forward-facing LiDAR. During its flight and return paths, this function helps the drone to automatically recognize and avoid obstacles, including buildings, thus guaranteeing strong safety for nighttime photography.
