Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Shake the tin well before use. Frenchic Trim Paint is designed for minimal preparation. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease or loose paint. Lightly sanding glossy surfaces can improve adhesion.
Compatibility:
This paint is recommended for interior woodwork, trims, skirting, and doors. It is also suitable for various furniture types, including:
- Wood and laminate furniture (e.g., kitchen cupboards, built-in units)
- Metal surfaces
- Powder-coated radiators
- Can be safely used on children's toys (EN71-3 certified).
Care:
Clean brushes and tools with water immediately after use. The paint has a soft-satin sheen that is robust and scuff-resistant once fully cured. To clean painted surfaces, use a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive scrubbing to maintain the finish.
Coverage:
A 500ml tin covers approximately 7m² per coat. For a more durable finish, two coats are recommended, meaning a 500ml tin will cover approximately 3.5m².
