Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires only a needle and matching thread. The laterally-curved eyelets on the base of each piece allow you to loop your thread through several times to anchor them firmly to the garment.
Best Practices:
- Use a strong, matching polyester or cotton-wrapped polyester thread to ensure the fastener doesn't rip away from the fabric under stress.
- When sewing, use a blanket stitch or overhand stitch around the eyelets to distribute tension evenly across the fabric.
- These fasteners are machine-wash safe, provided they are closed during the wash cycle to prevent them from catching on other garments.
- Avoid using harsh bleaching agents, as they may degrade the black protective coating over long-term exposure.
