No, the HOMCOM Bamboo Sofa Arm Tray is ready to use straight out of the box.
Yes, the tray is designed to roll up into a compact cylinder, making it perfect for storage in drawers or cabinets.
Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive sponges or heavy chemicals to preserve the varnish.
It is designed for most sofa types; however, because leather can be slippery, ensure the tray is positioned correctly and monitor it to ensure it does not slide.
The tray is crafted from durable, eco-friendly bamboo with a smooth, protective varnished finish.
The central groove is versatile and can comfortably hold smartphones, pens, or other slim everyday essentials.
Ensure the tray is centered. If the sofa arm is made of a very slick material, try placing a thin non-slip pad or mat underneath the tray.
Check if the armrest is too narrow or sharply curved. If so, gently adjust the position of the individual bamboo slats to better conform to the specific geometry of your furniture.
Setup is effortless as the product arrives fully assembled; simply unroll the tray and drape it across your sofa arm. It is compatible with most standard sofa arm designs, but ensure the armrest width is sufficient to allow the side flaps to hang down securely. To maintain the bamboo finish, wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust or spill residue. Avoid submerging the tray in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the varnished surface. When not in use, simply lift it off, roll it up, and tuck it into a drawer or a basket.
