FAQs

How long does it take to charge all three batteries?

When using a compatible power source, the triple-slot charger can fully charge all three batteries in approximately 2.7 hours.

Can I use these with any Sony camera?

These batteries are compatible with Sony cameras that specifically utilize the NP-FW50 battery type.

Do I have to use all three slots at once?

No, you can charge one, two, or three batteries at any time; the charger will intelligently detect the batteries currently inserted.

Is a wall adapter included in the box?

The kit includes the charger and batteries, but it does not include a wall AC adapter. You can use any standard USB wall adapter with a 5V/2A output.

Will these batteries cause my camera to display an error message?

No, the batteries contain full-decoding chips specifically designed to prevent error messages and display battery levels accurately on your camera.

Troubleshooting

Batteries not charging in the unit

Verify that the USB cable is fully seated in the port and the power source (wall block or power bank) is providing at least 5V/2A.

LCD screen is blank

Check that the charging cable is connected securely to both the charger and the power source; try using a different cable to rule out a faulty connection.

Camera does not recognize the battery

Ensure the battery is fully inserted and the contacts on the battery and camera are clean and free of debris.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using the SmallRig 6019 kit, simply insert your NP-FW50 batteries into the charger slots. Connect a USB-C or Micro-USB cable to a power adapter with at least 5V/2A output for optimal performance. The LCD display will illuminate to indicate the status of each battery. To ensure longevity, avoid exposing the batteries to extreme temperatures or high humidity. Always store the batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. It is recommended to perform a full charge and discharge cycle every few months if the batteries are being kept in long-term storage.
