Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The HOMCOM Power Lift Riser Recliner Armchair typically requires minimal assembly upon arrival. Follow the included instructions carefully.
- Unpack all components: Ensure all parts, including the backrest, seat base, armrests, and power cord, are accounted for.
- Connect the backrest: Slide the backrest into the receiving slots on the seat base until it locks securely.
- Attach armrests (if separate): Some models may have detachable armrests that simply slide or click into place.
- Connect the power supply: Plug the power cord into the chair's control box, then into a standard 220-240V electrical wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.
Compatibility
This electric recliner is compatible with standard household electrical outlets (e.g., 220-240V in many regions). It is designed for indoor use only. Ensure adequate space around the chair for full recline and lift functionality, allowing a few inches clearance from walls.
Care
- Cleaning Upholstery: For general cleaning, gently vacuum the corduroy fabric to remove dust and debris. For spills or stains, spot clean immediately using a clean, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which can damage the fabric. Always test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first.
- Mechanism Maintenance: Periodically check all electrical connections to ensure they are secure. Keep the mechanism clear of obstructions. Avoid spilling liquids directly onto the control panel or motor.
- General Care: Avoid placing the chair in direct sunlight to prevent fading. Do not use abrasive materials for cleaning.
