The ATEK Medium Bird Cage Seed Catcher is an essential accessory for adult bird owners who want to minimize the cleanup associated with daily bird care. Crafted from durable nylon, this flexible mesh skirt wraps around the lower portion of your cage to trap seeds, feathers, and husks before they reach your floors. While it significantly reduces the need for constant sweeping, it is important to note that it may slightly obstruct your direct view of the cage floor when looking from certain horizontal angles.

The flexible mesh is designed to accommodate round, square, and rectangular cages as long as they fall within the medium size dimensions.
Yes, it is recommended to place the catcher in a laundry bag when machine washing to prevent snags.
The mesh is highly breathable and will not restrict normal airflow for your bird.
Most birds ignore the mesh, but if you have a habitual chewer, ensure the catcher is positioned on the exterior so they cannot reach it easily.
This product is specifically sized and designed for smaller birds like canaries, budgies, and finches.
Ensure the elastic bands are securely hooked behind the vertical bars of the cage to provide better tension.
Check that the mesh is pulled tight against the cage wall and not bunched up, as gaps will allow debris to pass through.
Installation is straightforward: stretch the elasticized bottom and top bands over the cage wire until the mesh is taut against the base. Ensure the catcher does not interfere with the cage door opening or sliding tray removal. For care, gently scrub the mesh with a soft brush if debris persists. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach, as these may weaken the nylon fibers over time. Always ensure the catcher is completely dry before reattaching it to the cage to prevent moisture buildup.
