Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure the distance between the toilet pan spigot and the soil pipe to determine the required length of the connector.
- Adjust the connector's length as needed, either extending or shortening it.
- Insert the connector into the toilet pan spigot and the soil pipe. Ensure a tight seal.
- Secure the connections according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring no leaks.
Compatibility:
The McAlpine WC-CON5B is compatible with toilet pans that have a spigot size between 97-107mm. It is also compatible with 3½"/90mm and 4"/110mm PVC-U and cast iron soil pipes.
Care:
- Regularly inspect the connector for any signs of wear or leaks.
- If leaks are detected, tighten the connections or replace the connector.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals for cleaning, as these may damage the polypropylene material. Use warm, soapy water instead.
