Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
This acrylic paint set requires no special setup. Simply uncap the bottles and stir the paint gently with a brush or palette knife before use, especially if the paint has been stored for an extended period. Ensure your chosen surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease for optimal adhesion.
Compatibility:
These acrylics are designed for use on a wide variety of porous and non-porous surfaces including canvas, wood, paper, fabric, ceramics, glass, and rocks. For non-porous surfaces like glass or treated wood where extreme durability is needed, consider applying a compatible acrylic sealant or varnish after the paint has fully dried.
Care:
- Cleaning Brushes and Tools: Wash brushes, palette knives, and other tools with soap and warm water immediately after use, before the paint dries. Dried acrylic paint can be difficult to remove.
- Storage: Store the paint bottles upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure caps are tightly closed to prevent the paint from drying out.
- Surface Care: Once dry, artwork created with this paint can typically be cleaned gently with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners, especially on delicate surfaces or fabric applications.
