Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The stapler comes pre-assembled. To load staples, locate the staple magazine release (usually a small lever or button on the stapler's base or arm). Pull the arm open, insert a strip of appropriate staples (e.g., 26/6 or 24/6), ensuring they are correctly aligned, and close the arm until it clicks shut.
Compatibility: This stapler is designed to work with standard full strips of staples, commonly referred to as 26/6 or 24/6 sizes. Always ensure you are using the correct staple size for optimal performance and to prevent jamming.
Care: To maintain optimal performance and longevity:
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of light machine oil to the stapling mechanism and pivot points to ensure smooth operation. Do this sparingly to avoid excess.
- Jam Removal: If staples jam, carefully remove them using a staple remover or tweezers. Do not force the mechanism.
- Storage: Store in a dry place away from extreme temperatures.
