Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install these inserts, first identify the correct drill bit size recommended for the specific metric diameter (M4-M10). Drill a clean, straight pilot hole into your material. Ensure the hole depth is sufficient for the length of the insert to sit flush with or slightly below the surface. Use a manual hex driver or an installation tool to thread the insert into the hole until it is seated firmly. For long-term maintenance, store the container in a dry environment to prevent any surface oxidation on the metal components. If you are working with very brittle plastic, consider a test piece to confirm the drill diameter prevents cracking during insertion.
