Rawlplug UNO Plugs - Brown - Pack of 1000

These Rawlplug UNO plugs are designed for use in a wide variety of materials including concrete, brick, stone, blockwork, and plasterboard.

The brown UNO plugs (7x30mm) are compatible with screws measuring between 4mm and 6mm in diameter.

Drill a hole of the appropriate size, tap the plug into the hole until flush, and then insert and tighten the screw.

The anti-rotation feature prevents the plug from spinning inside the drilled hole as you insert the screw, ensuring a more stable and secure fixing.

While offering a secure general-purpose fixing, for extremely heavy loads, it's recommended to consult load-bearing charts and consider specialized anchors if required by your application.

The plugs themselves are durable, but their performance outdoors may depend on environmental factors and the type of screw used. Ensure the screw is corrosion-resistant for outdoor use.

Ensure the drilled hole is the correct size and depth. If the hole is too large, you may need to use a larger plug or a different type of anchor. The anti-rotation feature should prevent spinning if installed correctly in a properly sized hole.

Check that the drilled hole is deep enough for the plug. Ensure no debris is obstructing the hole. Tap the plug gently with a hammer to fully seat it.

Verify that the screw diameter is within the recommended range (4-6mm for brown plugs). If the screw is too small, it may not engage the plug's expansion mechanism. If too large, it may strip the plug. Ensure the plug is fully inserted.
