Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Neiko 53416A requires minimal assembly. Typically, the handle needs to be attached to the main sweeper body. Once assembled, adjust the telescopic handle to your preferred working height by loosening the collar, extending the handle, and retightening the collar. The roller wheel height can be adjusted using the provided mechanism to set the desired clearance from the ground.
Compatibility: This magnetic sweeper is compatible with ferrous metals, meaning it will pick up iron, nickel, and cobalt. It is not effective for aluminum, brass, plastic, or other non-magnetic materials. It performs well on a variety of surfaces including concrete, asphalt, grass, carpet, and hardwood floors.
Care: To maintain optimal performance, clean the magnetic surface regularly. After each use, or when the capacity is reached, use the quick-release handle to deposit the collected debris. Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth if necessary. Store the sweeper in a dry place to prevent rust. Periodically check that the wheels rotate freely and that the handle adjustment mechanism is secure.
