Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the devices you intend to connect have compatible RF (coaxial) input/output ports.
- For direct connection, screw the male RF connectors of the cable firmly onto the corresponding ports of your devices (e.g., TV, set-top box, wall socket).
- If using the coupler, first connect one male end of the cable to the coupler, then connect the other male end of the cable to your device, or connect the coupler to your device and then to another cable.
Compatibility:
This cable is compatible with any device featuring standard RF coaxial female connectors, commonly found on televisions, VCRs, DVD recorders, set-top boxes (Freeview, Sky, Virgin Media), and aerial wall sockets.
Care:
- Avoid kinking or sharply bending the cable, as this can damage the internal conductors.
- Keep connectors clean. If they become dusty, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
- Store the cable away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight when not in use.
- For installation, consider using cable clips (e.g., QS 005049) to secure the cable neatly and prevent accidental strain.
